Looking into adding PB booster to the Duster. have front disc, rear drum SBP setup.
My concerns were bolt pattern to firewall. Checking out Geroge R's '69 Dart last night, his booster uses same BP as my master. I'll need PB rod as well to convert from manual. So far I was able to find boosters at Performanceonline.com, but no specific info on model fitment.

I did come across that thread before I posted my question. Appears the original plan there is exactly the opposite from what Im looking to do. I have manual now, looking to convert to Power. Just need info on any vendors who would have the booster, master, mount bracket and rod.

Master Brakes has what you are looking ofr but I said I wouldn't recommend them again so I'm not posting a link. Google them if you want but beware their shipping charges if you decide to buy there. Good luck

Damn good find! Thanks, that be the stuff Im looking for :) www.mpbrakes.com p/n BM1302 8" dual diaphragm PB booster/master cyl. for A-body MoPar with factory manual crap brakes. I had a manual master I bought new from them less than 2 yrs ago, but dont remember what they robbed me for shipping. Thanks again

tom340, you are doing what I am doing - switching from manual to power brakes. I am also swapping over to front discs. I found the booster, m/c and rod as a unit at Advance auto parts for about $100. The brackets I bought from a FABO member for about $30 IIRC.

Looks like it has gone up about $60 since last spring...

Tom, i'm adding manual disc to my front drums, does your master differ from the dual section / same size master of the drums, ie; is one larger than the other? Thanks

Even better, thats more than 50% off MP brakes conversion and their BS shipping scam Im becoming educated on.
I've had such mixed experiences with my local Advance auto parts store, its pretty normal to go there looking for something and come out empty handed. Occasionally they will have what I need, or can get it within days. I'll give them a shot, thanks for the suggestion

The front and rear reservoirs in the master installed on my car right now are identical in size, if Im answering this correctly. Im assuming your "changing from drums to disc"? I had a "larger" master in the car last year but it didnt look right to me in an A body, but worked just fine. Bought it new from MPB. Swapped in an OEM from local auto parts store. You may be able to look up on the MPB website to see if they specify front disc or drum with a different p/n.

the front disc brake resivoir has to be larger beacause the caliper can contain more fluid than drum brake wheel cylinders.
