Brake Lever

Does anyone know if the power and the manual brake levers are two different lengths? I switched from power to manual years ago and always had a rock hard pedal. Someone told me that the manual had a longer lever and I didn't know that. Just trying to confirm that it's true.

Not sure why the length would matter, since power brake rods are a totally different design. They attach to the lever in the "stand-off brackets", not directly to the booster or MC.
