I am converting my 63 valiant to front disc brakes, but I am having trouble with the lines from the master cylinder. It is a duel master for a 68 dart. Are the lines off the master cylinder 3/16 or 1/4. I do have some lines and portioning valve from something a body but the lines go straight down and are to close to the headers. (v8 conversion). can anyone help.

Why not make custom lines and guide them where they fit best for you. Brake lines are EASY to bend.

Many posts on converting an early A single MC to a dual MC. I wouldn't fool with the factory proportioning valve you found since you can get an adjustable one for <$30 (Jegs on ebay).

The tubing size is the OD. Measure with vernier calipers. You 63 single tube is probably 1/4" like my early's were. The 68 MC probably has two 3/16" lines, but with different size nuts so they aren't mixed up. Just because a nut screws in doesn't mean it is correct for the fitting. Always look at the tubing size of the inverted flare port.
