I'm going to replace brakes on my 1965 Dodge Dart and I removed the drum and saw that the larger shoe was in the front of the drum. I watched a you tube video Eric the car guy and he says the shorter shoe always go on the front of the drum. Does anyone know who is correct right now the larger shoe is on the front of the drum...please help.
as always anyone who responds I thank .

So I think the brakes on there now are installed incorrectly....great. Thanks so much...

You asked! :) I was 16 doing my first brake job and figured the big shoe should go on the front where the most force was. Wrong! The most force is on the rear shoe. I had to do it over as well. It's a lesson you learn and never forget.
