Brewtus' DustAAR (hopefully) build. Don't expect much.

What kind of shape does the spot-welded-on muffler hanger look for the "other" muffler? The one for the dual exhaust.....would that be the right side?

It's probably history, huh?

No muffler hanger on the right side of the car, only the one on the left -

And the tailpipe bracket -

This car was not a 340 car. It was a 318 4-speed Twister, so it does not surprise me that it does not have the dual hangers. If you can use this, PM me. I certainly don't need it.

I own the DustAAR let me know if you have any questions.

Only questions I could think of was the supplier of the spoilers. I think I found a source for the rear one on Fleabay, and possibly a small front one.

Nice car you have there, sir. Mine won't be anywhere near that caliber, just a stripped-down Trans-Am racer-style build for fun at the local road course. I don't plan on calling mine DustAAR, since I discovered your car existed long before I even bought my project. I just thought it was a cool name with ties to All American Racers and Plymouth Trans-Am racing, even though I can find absolutely no documentation of Dusters ever being roadraced back then.

As a side note, a 340 has been purchased, and the aluminum-case for the A-833 has been prepped for the trip to the machine shop for steel bushings. A '74 front disk brake front end has been purchased also. As soon as floors go in this hulk, real work will begin. Stay tuned. :thumleft:
