Broken bolt

Went out to find SET OF 10 X 2.5 BRAKEs today at the local yard im trying to get my 8 3/4 set up to put in the car...took me three different 8 1/4 rear ends to get a set of back plates because the bolt [pin was broken on two rearends..couldnt remove the bar to slide in the axles so i could remove the c lips...anyone have any tricks to get that broken piece out ..any one else experienced this is this a common issue with the 7 1/4 8 1/4 rear..j

Id never get lucky enough to find three of them in the junkyard. But if they're all broke that would be unlucky.

Two out of three were broke...i tryed to get a pair last year also and it was broken too..j
