hi i sure this has been asked before i broke my dipstick tube off my 360 i live in an apartment complex which we are not aloud to work on cars here, my friend lives 5 mile from here would it be safe to drive it 5 miles without pi--ing oil all over the place and frying my engine. thanks

I drove one for 2 years with a broken tube back in the day never lost hardly a drop .

Just shove a bolt, or self-tapping screw in it.
Make sure its full of oil

A 5/16 concrete type lag bolt gets those out pretty easy.
If it's flush with the block lightly screw the bolt in and pull the piece out.
You can also push the broken end into the pan and get it out with a pocket type extendable magnet through the oil drain.

used a screw in "easy out" till it stopped inside the broken tube and a pair of vice grips to turn to to break the seal and pull it out...the bolt trick above is similar and cheaper :)
