Broken radiator petcock

I broke the plastic petcock on my '73 Scamp while trying to loosen it, and need to replace it, but don't know how to properly remove it. Thanks

Because its plastic,, I just drilled two small holes side by side in the stub,, and stuck a pair of snap ring pliers in the holes and twisted, needle nose woulda prob worked too, there was hardly any resistance, just finger tight..
