65 Barracuda. the buckets are toast. They need new foam and covers to fix them up properly.

I'm thinking about aftermarket buckets. anyone have a good referral (cost and comfort?)
I'd like more comfort than a performance, butt pinching seat.

Can the 65 brackets be used in the mounting?

Looking for a light blue seat (doubtful, I know).
thanks

Maybe a trip this summer to Chryslers at Carlisle is in order for you for this project? I've been there many times before on mine and its the place to go when in need of parts. Many options and often reasonable prices. Sometimes you even get lucky and find some original parts for the car too! My goal sometime is Chrysler Nationals in Ohio just for parts and goodies, for me though it is tough as I take care of the golf course and August is the busy season! But one year I will get that weekend off and go with a pocket full of parts money for my baby!

You can fit anything in there, I put volvo electric heated and side impact in mine, whatever your imagination can conjure up.

Keep in mind that '65 seats are wider than '66-up seats.......

I put used Sebring convertible front seats in my 65 Dart. The integral shoulder belts make it easy and the power driver's seat is nice. I had to make custom brackets, using metal from Ace Hardware. I just laid the seat next to my factory seats and measured so my rear butt would be in the same place in space. The factory seats look cool, but no shoulder belt or head restraint make them less safe, and new foam and covers costs $750.
