Heres how I constructed my Blasting Cabinet.
I started with a clean 55-gallon drum
I cut one hole 10 wide by 6 deep in the bottom side & riveted the ductwork into it, to catch the abrasive, and where the siphon end goes.
The next hole was 16wide by 9 tall centered for the window, and drilled holes around the perimeter to bolt the Plexiglas window to the drum. I used some of the metal cut into 1 strips at the edges of the Plexiglas to keep the Plexiglas from cracking when I bolted through it.
Cut two holes 6 1/2 in diameter 20 from center to center for the gloves, I used plywood rings as a backing plate for attaching the gloves & bolted them to the drum.
Attach lights at either end of the drum at the top angled to shine on your project.
Drill a hole to run the air hose through.
and attach it to the moisture separator.
Thats pretty much all it takes. I caulked all the edges of the window & duct work and cut a 2-1/2" round hole in each end to attach a shop vac to collect the dust at one end & let air in at the other end.
