has anybody ran into an issue with running the 440 HP 2780915 heads on An B engine 383 I was reading over on Moparts that there may be an issue between piston clearance and clearance of the chamber on the head because it's a closed chamber heads anyone have any info thanks in advance

If ur engine hasn't been zero decked or is still original or has old replacement pistons, they are prob so far down u won't have a problem. Depends on your cam of course and you should always check p/v clearance. Any performance rebuild on your 383 u need to get the pistons zero decked or as close as possible to get ur compression up, and def check p/v clearance.

"may" is correct. It will depend upon the year of the 383 engine and if it has been modified. The only way to know for certain is to measure the piston deck height.
