Picked up a '68 rally dash frame another member

Smoothing all the extra holes on the '68 dash (this pic is on another dash that I was welding on to figure out my settings the actual dash has much much cleaner welds)

After I had everything welded up including the ash tray

Yes I cut a decent rally dash bezel:cheers:

Dash frame in primer note the welded in radio support, I don't want it going anywhere

After it is painted and mostly assembled. I am a little mad at myself for using cheap clear that easily chips and scratches but it is good enough for now

I do still need to put the wiring in and finish the dash cap

Looks good. I am going to be doing the same thing with mine but might have to modify the dash core I have(non rally).

So, can you just cut a non-rallye dash frame to fit the rallye gauge cluster? I would love to do a custom rallye gauge setup and have an extra non-rallye dash frame.

you can but it's kinda a pain in the rear, it is very doable though and I know several members have done it.
