That moves the ad to the top and keeps it active. After 30 days with no activity the mods will close it without it.

It means that the seller posted an item at too high a price and yet is still hopeful that some fool will pay it eventually..........

Yes, it bumps the ad to the first thread on page 1. Non Gold members are not allowed to bump ads and Gold members can bump their ads every 3 days. After 30 days of inactivity the FABO software closes the ad for additional posts. (it doesn't delete the ad)
