bushed gears

not ones that have been up for 48 hours but ones that have a bronze bushing in them with holes.Are they in all gears or only special ones?Thanks!Bob

Only Hemi gearsets are bushed.

that is what I thought but none of the parts transmissions I have were coarse spline inputs.Is it possible to use some of those gears in a fine spline box?I have a list of gear posistion/tooth count;haven't laid them out for comparison.Bob

No you can't interchange gears between 18 and 23 spline gearsets. Start with a cluster gear, then match the first, second, third and finally the input shaft to the cluster by counting teeth.

I believe that the Mopar Race Parts, or Direct Connection, programs had offered a gear set for the 23 spline that had bronze bushings installed.
Keep in mind that Liberty Gear also offered some off the wall re-build stuff and did custom 4 speeds for all makes back in the day.
They still do, AFAIK.
