Hello to all the bona fide MOPAR experts.
Also, The few guys (less than 3 lol) that I speak to via PM mail, I can't see any other mb in the Mopar universe having more qualified, better versed (thru trials and tribulations of their own) than this MB here.
If someone does not have an answer, you will read, @thisguyhere... Can help you with that.

With that said let me move on.

Does anyone have or know anything that will be helpful, must do, NEVER do, do once or twice and your are ready, etc... With the installation of the cal trac system.

I want and will, install my cal trac mono leafs finally this winter.
Along with that, I will shall be installing the cal trac suspension bars along with the leafs.

Any help, ideas, suggestions are going to be truly helpful.
I am as well versed and informed with these muscle cars as the last cadaver that was able to breath and chew gum after he was declared, legally dead.

So you see. In a nutshell, my knowledge is dead..

    Thanks

It isn't rocket science. take out old springs, and install new ones.... You didn't mention what this was going in, or what was coming out, so I assume stock components. The front spring bolt will be larger than the stock spring, so you will likely have to drill that out. I'd also recommned checking pinion angle once the new springs are in. Again, no mention of what is currently installed or if you have stock height caltracs, +1, or -1. Either way, it's a good idea to check and adjust pinion angle whenever replacing springs.

    Thank you

    I believe they are +1
When you say what is going in, I thought you understood it's the Caltracs will be replacing the stock WELL the SS springs and it has now.
I wanted to know if they're are any shocks in particular that work better or worse with this set up.
    Thank you

I’ll be interested to see the difference in ride height between the two springs. This is mine with Caltracs and SS springs, don’t want to lose any ride height.

With shocks you can go mild to wild (price wise) but whatever you choose make them adjustable. Single, double, triple, the sky is the limit. Really it depends on how hard you hit the tire and what tire you’re running. Also vehicle weight will play a role in what you choose.

Considering Caltracs are made for drag racing, if you're cornering, you're doing it wrong.

If you have SS springs, the spring hanger is likely already drilled to the larger size, 5/8" I believe, where the stock bolt is 1/2".

Caltracs sells shocks to match their system. I assume they have sized the length properly. You don't want your shock limiting extension. As fas as setting up the bars, follow their instructions.

Now this is what I was referring to.
I don't drive the car that often to the track but I just got tired at getting to a light and having these euro/mustangs jump me from light to light while I spin like crazy so I figured I don't drive it that much period I may as well have it running good on the street where I don't need slicks ..
The car ran a low 12 the way it is now but truly the first 60 is not great (light to light more or less) I don't care for cornering it's not like I'm drove a rally car..
    Thanks for the input gentlemen..
