Hi I Just Put In A Erson Cam In My Small Block I Would Like To Know Do I Have To Change The Dist. Gear???its A Flat Tappet Hyd Cam

do i have to NO but is good idea to change most grinders will not garranty the cam if you do not change to dist gear

Unless your dist is old and worn out you are fine.
Plug that bad boy in and go.
In fact if you dont have electronic ignition,now would be a good time for the Mopar Performance kit.

I never heard of a need to change a gear for warranty. I never did. Never a problem.

You may be referring about the need to replace the steel distributor drive gear with an aluminum/bronze gear when installing a roller cam.
