I have done about 6 sb. If you have a helper to hit the shaft for you while you keep the adapters centered and watching to make sure the cam bearing oil holes are lined up in the block, it's very easy. One trick," coat the out side of the bearings with vasoline. Works better than any other lubricant.

I never use lubricant to install cambearings. Just tap them in dry. I want them to be stuck in there good.
No, a bigblock mopar since that's pretty much all I do usually. Although at the moment I'm working on a 360 so maybe it's time to fab up a few more mandrels for the smallblock cam bearings (Haven't checked yet if or how much they differ from the bigblock bearings).

Cam tunnels are too tight, or slightly out of alignment. Reaming out the bearings like that is not the ideal method.
Got home this morning and it was like Christmas. New tools, bearings, air filter, kazowey!
Man, this Lisle is the cat's meow.... I have been prepping the block today and used it to remove the bearings.
