Came AWFUL darn close to serious hurt today

A friend Tom Rushatz I knew when I was younger got a splinter in his arm at work. He left it go until he got home and then got it out. 2 days later he went to the Emergency room. They had to take his arm off. A week after that he died. Age 24
My son at 19 yrs. old was carrying parts up the steps in the garage. He had dickie work pants on that were wet from the parts cleaner. He slipped and hit his shin on the step. My wife looked at it the next morning and she took him right to the hospital. He was there for a day or two. He is 34 and still has a deep hole in his shin. Luckily my wife was just a good caring house wife and was over caring at times. She has always been the family nurse.
She carries a first aid kit for grand children. One scratch and out it comes .
