I have BBP rims & this would save some $$$. And could they drill these for 1/2" studs? thank you for your time. RR

They can be, however, they really need to be exact.

These are screw in grade 8s. Press ins will be even closer to the stock axle edge.
Large heads on the studs may interfere with the parking brake strut.

The drums aren't as critical as the register centers them.

IMO, done right, you'll likely twist the splines before the axle flange or studs fail.

Make sure you grind old studs that are on the 4” diameter flush as opposed to pressing them out to give the flange strength.

Screw in studs are okay here. @Oldmanmopar has been on another thread on the subject with the details on doing it correctly.

Do yourself a favour, you can buy brand new ones with new bearings pressed on for $300 in Montana. You’ll need later style 10" backing plates which will also allow you to run 10x2" brakes where parts are readily available at pretty much any corner store.

Your wheels can be up to 8" with about 4.5" ish backspacing and fit comfortably with up to 275/60r15 tire on some models (duster, dart sport) or 255/60r15 on others like dart swinger….
