Can anyone tell me why this headliner wont work on a Swinger?

I am looking for a new headliner as mine is pretty rough to look at and I found this one on Ebay but I need to make sure it is what I need. I am looking for a black headliner.

Can someone clarify this for me?

My swinger has a cardboard like material, blue in color

The contour of the inside as well as the outside of the roof is different on a Dart Sport or Demon versus the Swinger.
Actually, it is a lot different when you compare them side to side.

Duster, Dart Sport, Demon are coupes, and the Swingers , Scamps are Hardtops , my 73 dart sport has a hard headliner , but if you go to any sites , does not list one for the hardtops , gotta be different around the rear window i would say.

It lists them for '73 and up Swingers and Scamps. I would call them to be sure that it would fit your car.

Try ebay, classic auto trim of Nevada. great service material is very good and reasonably priced. I bought my liner from them for my 68 Dart $63 shipped. Very good quality.

I know someone who bought one of these. It is not what you think. It is a cloth covered foam that you glue to your existing cardboard. You can buy the same material from a interior shop for $30.00. I use this material to fix new droopy headliners in late model cars. If you look at the item description it states cloth covered foam. They show it cut to fit your cardboard . It should be cut after it is glued on. This add is very deceiving. Beware !!
