Not sure what motor this is. Can you identify it? Looks like either a 5.2 or 5.9 magnum automatic?

More like a 5.2 318 or a 5.9 360 Magnum with a barrel intake .
The block should have numbers cast on the side.

Drivers side of the block just above the freeze plugs. It will be stamped 318 or 360 just like an LA engine. The 10 bolt valve covers, vertical intake bolts, and beer barrel intake are all telltale magnum signs.

The numbers on the side of the block won't be stamped- they'll be cast onto the block.

Is there a weight on the flex plate?

Early 360 Magnums still used a non weighted flex plate, and had a single large weight on the converter. Not sure what year this changed but I know for certain 94 was still neutral flex plate weighted converter

All that you can tell from that picture is it's a smallblock...
