Canada to the USA ?

As anyone bought a car from canada ?
How did you get it into the usa ?
There is no motor or trans in it, just a parts car.

I have had two of my cars go over to the States, Michigan exactly LOL
I was told by the people that all they have to do is show proof that it was bought and that is all. One lady even drove it home.
Things might have changed in a couple years, but as far as I know it is alot easier for you to take it over that it is for Canadians to bring back.

Call the border crossing you are going to use and ask what they want from you.I have brought them into Canada and found Detroit a little better.If you have someone bring it across for you you will need to meet them at the border.

my car is supposed to be going to alberta canada. they have to have all the paper work at least 72 hrs in advanced. have to pay tax on the freon in the car. duty taxes. and inspection. if all paper work matches the paper work they had faxed to them then you should be ok.. pain in the *** really from what i have been told by the guy trying to buy my car

We have to pay GST at the border and PST when we register it.It actually isnt that bad of an ordeal as long as you play by their rules.
