Canadian looking for an A-Body

Hello

New to this site. I have owned several A-Body Mopars over the years with various engine / transmission combinations. In 2006 I decided to try something new so I picked up a 1965 Mustang survivor with 68,000 original miles and over the course of the following year I restored it back to stock. She won her first show entered. Although the 1965 Mustang is a true icon and I had a lot of fun with it it's not a Mopar so I sold it a few months ago.

I'm looking for an H code A-body and prefer a 4 gear car with the sweet spot being the 1971 Duster or Demon but will consider all H code cars. Clones do not interest me. Does'nt matter where the car is located but prefer something closer to home of course. I live in Campbell River, BC

Welcome to the site! Welcome back to Mopars. Have you started looking on kijiji. There are a number of great cars on there from time to time. Also, what price range and condition are you thinking?
 
Welcome, I'm just south of you in Errington (the woods of Parksville). I've got a 1965 Valiant 273 that I'll be selling, but it's no H code car. I know a lot of people in the area with Mopars, so I'll ask around. Do you know Don Bailey? He's usually got some in interesting stuff in your area.
There's a guy just north of Duncan who's got an ad on Used Victoria selling a bunch of Mopar parts because he's moving to Thailand, and he's got a '70 340 4 speed Dart, not sure if it's sold yet or not.

Yes I know Don Bailey quite well, he has his people back east looking.

I looked on the site and the car is not listed. I've looked at the 70 swinger listed there, very nice car, but not a 4 speed and I was never a big fan of the swingers (except the back window).

We must be talking about different ones. This one is purple with a white stripe, the guy also has a '67 ragtop Cuda that he's done a bunch of mods to.

Very nice! Hope to see it around at some shows this year.

July 26 in Coombs (Parksville) the WPC club is hosting a Mopar Only show. You should definitely bring your new Demon to it. There hasn't been a Mopar Only show in a long time on the Island.
