I received pm from a member, and it was "closed". I figger I'll send him a new one. No can do. I click on the avatar(once and twice) and no popup for sending him a pm?

Two options when you "Leave" a PM conversation... Maybe they clicked the wrong one?
- Accept future messages Should this conversation receive further responses in the future, this conversation will be restored to your inbox.
- Ignore future messages You will not be notified of any future responses and the conversation will remain deleted.

Thanks guys, not a scammer I dont think. I think it's how his settings are setup, I honestly dont know. Weird how he could send me one but I cant.

I get being able to close an individual conversation, but all of them?

I can't start a conversation with him either, so he shut something off in his profile settings.
Also see that he is not a Gold Membership.
Under the Privacy Options in his account, he may have it set to "Nobody" instead of Members.
He turned off his PMs -- his choice- and he did it almost 2 years ago
