of course it is the time of year to have all sorts of stuff delivered to the house

yes, im sure there may be some presents in there for the kids, but for as long as they can remember, whenever there is a box on the doorstep it is "probably car parts"

i think they are starting to catch on that there may be some christmas presents in there, so tomorrow, when the steering dampener i ordered for the plow truck comes in i might just have the kids open that one...you know, just to show them it is "just car parts"

What lands on the front porch is one thing. The big stuff that we go buy and bring home is another. We once brought home a 1300+ go-cart for my junior. Struggled to work it through the trees and into the woods behind the house and then covered it with a huge sheet of black poly. Invisible most of the day but in the evening, the setting sun would make the poly shine. We were lucky he never saw it. Went back out there with flashlights at 2:AM Christmas morn' to move it to the front lawn outside his window. We parents are all elves working for Santa. LOL

LOL

I found my first go kart under the Christmas tree in the living room a couple hours before the parental units woke on Christmas morn. They found me in the seat racing Santa and the reindeer?
