Here's a few pics from the Surf City Garage 6th annual show in Huntington Beach yesterday. Hundreds of beautiful cars, but as usual just a few Mopars in the mix.
Also some pics of the Surf City Garage collection - they open it to the public only on the day of their annual show.
Here's some pics of the Mopars in attendance and a few others that caught my eye. Enjoy!

Check out the badge from the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic games over the license plate...

Absolutely gorgeous 1941 Hupmobile. The current owner is only the 2nd for the car. He told me the original build quality was terrible as the earlier models were front-wheel drive that were assembled from parts from the recently closed Auburn and Cord factories. The Hupmobile was front-engine/rear drive and the assemblers simply hammered the floor to make room for the driveshaft.

Possibly the prettiest Mopar at the show, but certainly the biggest!

Very tastefully done "'Cuda-ized" Challenger...with a carbon fiber hood and other 'Cuda-signature features like the grill, front fender gill inserts, and rear-end tail lights.

...and some more...

I've seen this beauty before but always good to show again. The owner built it in his garage. The rear fenders are front fenders from a Hudson that have been reversed. This has got to get some looks when driving down to SoCal over the Ridge Route from the Bakersfield area!

Beautiful paint on this smooth Merc

The pic doesn't do justice to the deep, deep Candy Apple Red paint on this Karmann Ghia

Now this is the way to see an outdoor car show...on your powered modified Coke cooler!

The paint on this one would have glowed sitting in the shade...and it's got a Hemi
