Hi. I installed an AVS carb on my engine not long ago and was adjusting the two air/fuel screws when I noticed a third screw just above and centered between the lower two. I am not familier with this third screw and don't know if it should be adjusted and if yes how? Thanks Bobby

What you have there is an OE - AVS carb. That 3rd scew set up high is an adjustable air bleed. Use it to trim he air fuel ratio. IF you do not have a 02 meter in the car or know someone with a machine to read the exhaust, leave it alone.

it is a reverse thread and backing it out leans it out, letting more air in.

HI. Thanks for the quick reply. The carb seems to work good so I guess I'll leave it alone. Thanks again. Bobby
