I know there's more than one answer for this question, but here goes......What's the best carb for my '68 Big Block 440?

That depends on what your looking to do with your big block (what size now?!?!) and how the engine & car are equipped. Let's start this off with some questions you need to answer for getting a decent answer although due to opinions, your going to get 20 different carb recommendations.

You asked a question in an extremely broad sense so a like answer is, "750."

What size engine in cubic inche's?
What is the HP rating?
Fill in the blanks below;

Intake
Heads
Valve sizes
Compression cam
Header or exhaust manifolds
Cam specs
Stall converter rated at
Rear ended ratio
Tire size
What is the cars purpose
What are you expecting from the car
Is there an ET you want to run

Intake - right now factory. Plan to upgrade.
Heads
Valve sizes
Compression cam - has a HP purple cam.
Header or exhaust manifolds - will have Schumacher headers.
Cam specs - don't know specs.
Stall converter rated at
Rear ended ratio - 8.8" with 3:76 I believe.

What is the cars purpose - look good and sound good.
What are you expecting from the car
Is there an ET you want to run
- not going to race it. Just drive it.

All else is basically factory 1968.

Terrific! The rest of my questions can be pretty much skipped. And you have been answered.
