Anyone have some suggestions as to how I should setup my carb for my upcoming 5.7 swap? I plan to use the Carter Competition AFB that's currently on my 318. Assuming the carb hasn't been taken apart and changed at some point in its life, the stamping numbers indicated that it is setup as follows:

9636 625cfm
Metering Rods 70x47, Primary main jets .098, Secondary main jets .095, Orange power piston step up spring

The engine is pretty much bone stock, I haven't made any modifications to it yet and probably won't for a while. I'll be running stock exhaust manifolds and an MSD box to control the spark. I plan to run the Indy Mod Man setup with the single four top plate as well. Would it be okay to run the carb as is or should I consider rejetting it first? I don't want to go lean and start melting parts, but I haven't been around the block enough to know how to pick jets and rods for a given engine.
