carbs for a dual set up on a 318 poly wide block

as the tittle says, need to get a set of carbs for a dual set up on my 318 poly wide block. has headers then 3" and a wieland high rise with a eddie 750 on it right now, otherwise stock 318. looking at the quadrajets as i have a set of adopter plates already, but its been recommended to go with a set of eddies 1405's. streetable being the key as it isn't going to the track, but i got the intake cheep so want to use it. anyone got a dual on a 318 running ?

A pair of 500 Carters/Edelbrocks is the best you can do in a small size. IIRC, most, if not all intakes will not take a Holley carb on top. If you can, then a pair of 390 Holleys is what I'd look at. OR a pair of (If you can actually find them) 400 carters.
