Carpet for a 65 Dart

Any advice on purchasing carpet for my 65 dart 2 door 4 speed? the carpet in there's not bad, black, just faded. I pulled some back from the firewall and it has a backing on it, do you is it made to the carpet ?, or is it separate Ya think? never installed a carpet before.

Get the carpet from Legendary or ACC and it will be right. The jute backing should be attached to the back side of the carpet. FYI Ulf @65dartcharger discussed the incorrect sizing of ACC’s carpet with Legendary (ACC makes ALL of the carpet for Legendary), so now thanks to Ulf, the carpet is the correct size and fits right!

My carpet in my 66 is in the same shape. My upholstery friend said to pull it, shampoo it, dry it , and spray die it. It will look like new.

Ok, seems like a lot to go through and not just replace it, that dye must really work.
