carter afb id

I've just picked up an AFB from a swap meet and wondered how to id it

the numbers i can find are 9776S 1112 stamped on the body near the front right mounting hole, 1112 printed on the base of the carb and 2-291 stamped on the primary throttle blades and 2-281 stamped on the secondaries.

does anyone know the cfm, original application etc or anywhere i could find a listing of model numbers

(9xxx)Is a Performance part number used in later Carter carbs.
(x7xx) is a denotion of 750 cfm, 6 would be 600 or 625 and 5 is 500, 4 is 400. (xx7x) I'm not sure. I believe 0 is mostly a non-emissions, 3 emission and EGR hook up. I'll have to dig a bit for this.
(xxx6) Is MoPar linkage. 5 is GM/universal, 7 is Ford
