Cast piston clearance?

Any opinions? 318 .040 over with cast pistons. Mostly street with as much loud pedal as the law will allow Won't be a daily driver. Maybe a couple K a year. 6500 redline? or when it noses over.

Depends on the skirts. .0015" is a great number, keeps scoring on 10w30, less rocking.
