You can also foster from SPCA, Humane Society and local shelters.

Everything from socializing kittens to elderly cats on the way out.

The work is already done on where they go after their time with you.
 
Double trouble

We got this little kitten Thanksgiving day. I already posted one pic of her up in our Christmas tree. More recently, she has claimed our doggy's bed in the den that he never uses anyway (he has four others). He has let her know that she should not be in his bed, but she ignores him.

Yesterday afternoon she snoozed while I watched football. Couldn't resist taking a pic.

That's funny, the last place I lived in had a fire place and Abby my cat loved it but still loved to go out in the cold, gave her that extra burst of energy. She'll be 19 years old January 11th and still going strong. I've been taking care of a trap neuter return cat for a couple of years now I call Jumper, he stays in at night when it's cold. He's a lot younger than Abby and to see them two play just makes happy me as all get out!
