Super people friendly, so probably won't stay.

My new orange female kitten. She was 3 months old when I got her and now 4 months old and gained 1 pound. My 15 year old orange female had to be put down in October 2025. The kittens mother was a Calico and father was orange both ferrel cats. Kitten was taken in and fostered by a woman my daughter knew thats how I got her. Only 20 percent of orange cats are female nearly all of them are males.

This is our orange girl- Mango.

She came to us ate up with mange, eyes swollen shut, and ears full of crud.
Fortunately, we had dealt with mange before and got her back to normal in a few weeks.

Oddly, we have had three orange girls and three orange boys (one buff, but still technically "red", genetically) come through our house.

Sorry about your friend @340sFastback
We lost our 14.5 year old "Mr. Orange" a few months into 2025.
He was my little buddy. Always by my side.

Skippy did something interesting last night.

Normally, when he wants up on the couch, loveseat, or other "normal" height seating surface, he puts his front paw on the edge, and pushes off with that, while jumping up with his rears.

Last night he jumped direct, "whole cat" and landed on all three!

Watching his progress is fascinating.

No, more like astonishing!

He also chased one of the kittens around.

Hey kitten, you're being chased by a three legged cat!
