Change suspension?????

I am currently redoing a 67 Barracuda nothcback that came from the
factory with a 273 auto.
I plan on going with a 383 or 440 torqueflite auto.
Would the suspension have to be changed due to the weight difference?

No. May want to upgrade to larger T bars but other than that it should be fine. www.engine-swaps.com will have the motor mounts you need.

what kind of shape is the front end in? do you have disc brakes? if not, would rebuild the front end while adding the disc brakes and heavier torsion bars....

i would definatley go with disc brake if not already on there. i would also go with a heavier torsion bar if its not a 100% drag car.

No, it's not a drag car. Although if a rice burner comes up...... well.
I plan on putting disc brakes all around. Still sitting up on blocks
with no front end on it. Just wanted to get some ideas when we
reach that point.
