That problem SHOULD be fixed. If not were looking in to a new host.

I know, I know. I've been on the horn with the host for the last few days. We'll be moving to a new host sometime in the next week or so.

think chat night would get tons of people on this site,on Pavementsucks.com http://www.pavementsucks.com/ a big time 4wheeler site,we hav a weekly chat on wensdays starting at 8,theres been up to 100 users in there at once when ive been in there!Also i think a sign to remind people of a chat,like a count down at the top of the hom page,if u hav time an remember check out pavementsucks on wensday,an youll see what i mean,iv been on that site for 5 years almost an i still forget about the chat,but that sign at the top always calls us out to get in there!

What started out as an honest concern for our beloved board has unintentionally turned into a headache for the guys whom run the site, Mikel & Adam.
My appoligies for my part in what's becoming a snowball..... If Mikel sez he's gonna fix it, you know it'll be done.
Thanks for all the effort that goes into making this site happen so Bozo's like myself can harrass many people in very far-away places :tongue:

No, it's not your fault for starting this, it's the host's fault for providing crappy service.
Remember... This isn't the only site that I'm responsible for. A bunch of my sites are all on the same server, so if this site is down, so are those others.

If you havent noticed the Host DID NOT fix the problem like they said they did. They can kiss my ***. Time for a new host.

Xanth I just signed up at Dakota usa and took a look at the chat room. thats the same one we use to have. We switch to this one because it works with the board better. we're looking around for something better.

OK. It works well with the set up we have over there. Ill keep my eye open for any new ones.
Also I know that over on Dakotausa we had it set up as a chat room on the main page for a while so when ever anyone went to the Forums section it was at the top. Somthing like that might work for here. It Died a quick death over there though.

I think I fixed the chat issue... It should (now) mark you as "away" after you've been idle for 5 minutes, and log you off after you've been idle for 10 minutes.
I can up those numbers, too, if that's not enough time for you.

If there are people in the chat room, the header menu (at the top of each page) will show the number of people chatting, bold & red. Right next to where it says "Chat" in the menu.
Does that make it a little better for you?
