Poly 318's are catching on. They are cool and can be built to perform!

The 4" small block crank is a drop in and they easily bore to 4". A 402" cube poly taint nuthin to sneeze at.
 
My youngest kid just liquidated all his old mini bikes and this guy isn't too far from us.... (sw Michigan is doable....)
 
-I wouldn't mind having one to build, those are WAY cool and different.........just because!
 
The earlier polys like the Dodge 325 have badasser valve covers.

Rob, Question (I don't know) The BADDASSER you pictured, is there any difference in valve train then that of the Poly 318? I never got my hands on one of the 325's.... I just had to ask!

EDIT:
I would like to know why the 318 Poly have the saw tooth valve covers and the 325 have those seen in your pic..... I know what the valve train is like on the 318 Poly, I don't know what the difference is to warrant the different valve cover shape.

well it looks like it has a truck oil pan, may be a truck thing? Those are the first ones I've ever seen.
