checking wheel straightness?

anyone have a way to check steel wheels for true & straight?

I have some 14x6 sbp chrome reverse rims--- bought from other sources-- they all look ok & roll on flat surfaces fine--- anything else to check for ?

you can spin them on a wheel balancer and check them.

X2. A good tire shop shouldn't charge much for this. Look for a local one, (non-chain store) they might even do it for free.

The other way to check them would be on a car on jack stands and do a visual on them for warp but I would just do a quick trip to your local tire store and they most likely check them for free. Heck you might even see a pair of tires there 8)
