Now thats motor trends quoting and not me.

Me owning a '96 ImpalaSS, I look at this new SS the same way most of you guys look at the new Charger. Not because of the number of doors, but because it's FWD. What a crock! The Super Sport moniker is supposed to imply it is a muscle car. How can a FWD anything be considered a muscle car? I just don't get it. :thumbdow:

I want something that can lay rubber for a block without coughing
up a transaxle and spitting out cv joints and axles. How many times has
everyone been at the dragstrip and seen a FWD car break at the starting
line? I've seen a brand new WRX break at the line the first day this
guy had it! Wonder what the dealer would say about that when the
towing charge came from a dragstrip? The only thing FWD cars are good
for is driving in snow, and I don't see too much of that anymore.

I thought was reading somewhere that the car companies were supposed to be going back to a rwd traction control system?

They can jump down to sea if they like...

Can you guys tell me is there any other car factory who does not know their history?

I think not.

Are those gm people hired some marketing specialist who is actually 20 years old?
