chiropractor,yes or no ?

Seen one on and off thru the years. For me if I did not make regular visits it just was not worth it. But get some image work done first...

I have multi level degenerative disc disease with bone spurs and tried several chiropractors over a 3 yr span. Most are not truthful and some are complete quacks. Every single one told me in the initial consultation they'd have me completely straightened up within 2-3 months and that was before they even did an X-ray. A couple hurt me more than helped so I stopped going to them. The best results I had was temporary relief from pain but almost every time I was in pain again by the next day. I worked as long as I could (6-7 yrs) through the pain and in the end paid the price. 1-1/2 yrs. ago I went to a different back/neck specialist and they did a MRI and told me C7 was completely blown out. I don't remember doing anything that could have caused it to be blown completely out (they told me the MRI showed it was just bulging before). But I do remember one of the Chiropractors really putting a hurt on me once when he cracked me. Hurt so bad I saw stars. For that reason I will NEVER go to a chiropractor again and recommend no one else does. 99% are nothing but bone crackers IMO... Just like cracking your knuckles makes them feel kinda good for a short time, cracking your neck or any other part of your body makes it feel good for a while. JMHO

Been there done that and never again. LOL he said I have reached my pain threshold and would need 12 visits. At the time he was head of the college but I found out they all take turns so not really a big deal. Anyway I did the 12 treatments and two days after I was done the pain was back again.
My wife ended up going to him months later and she got the same story...you reached your pain threshold...12 visits...didn't do much for her either.

Need to find the source of the problem first so you can properly take care of it.

With that said I have done the chiropractor tour and acupunture.... but you really need to know what is wrong before it can be fixed...

This is my chiropractor and friend... http://clubbchiropractic.com/ Johnny and his wife are all about healthy bodies...

You need to find this dedication and trust in your Dr..

goodluck

I'm a believer in my chiropractor, but he's an Osto chiropractor. not a nut job, no vaccines type.
My back, neck and shoulders were killing me from carrying mail, he saw I was hurting on the route, had me come back, presto-chango I'm a new man.
