Chopped duster?

Saw this and just wanted to know if anyone done this kind of roof modifications to a steel body duster?

Well I guess if you think you want a funny car on the street it's OK.
 
I would be curious to see a chopped dart. Not a huge chop. Something like 1 1/2 inches. I think it would be interesting. The purist would **** a chicken though. Lol
 

That's a heck of a lot more than 1-2". That's gotta be at least a 4" chop on that Dart. Overdid it, the lines just look wrong. Something like 1.5" would be subtle. Noticeable, but not crazy looking.

A chop on a Duster would be a ton of work with all the curves and angles. A dart would be a bit easier with all the flat panels. Not saying it can't be done, all the 40's and 50's cars out there have a ton of curves too, but the curved side windows would add an extra element. Glass could end up being impossible if you weren't careful planning the chop.
