I notice today the chrome on the rear bumper of my 1971 Plymouth Duster has a cracked and is starting to lift around one of the bolt heads that attaches bumper.

What if anything can I do to stop this from lifting more along with any suggestion on how I can cover/hide it.

I am thankful for any help/suggestions

if no one else has any suggestions, there is a very strong crystal clear expoxy ive used before,i forget the name of it,if you can get some of that stuff under it,that place wont peel off any more.It is like a clear version of JB weld,in strength.I haved used the stuff many times,it works great

I think you would need to remove that bolt and remove 100% of the loose chrome. Stop the corosion that causes the lifting. How to hide it I dont know... chrome foil burried in the gel type super glue ? LOL
Start saving up for a rechrome. Good luck

Also check too see if that bolt is too tight..my 2cents

Maybe some "clear" nail polish.....Might help seal it from getting worse?

Then a dab of chrome paint or something to cover up what shows.

Just trying to think outside the box.

Was thinking about a decal that would not look hookie...

Other suggestion?

it was just a joke bro.

Seriously, maybe you could get some bumper bolts with over sized heads or add a chrome washer that covers the area.
