Chrysler Prototype 'Cuda 0 miles

Sweet! Bruce found a factory tooling car of '70 Dart GT a while back. But sadly, the owner decided it was more fun to crush it then save it.

I just can't get all that excited about this, reminds me of what has become known as "unbuilt Heathkits." for all you non-electronics types, Heath (Heathkit) made home and amateur radio kits for many years. Some of these show up, unbuilt, in the box, on ebay for INCREDIBLE prices.

Here's the thing: You get a cardboard box full of parts, I guess you can brag to your friends, "oh, that box up there? That's an unbuilt Heathkit."

Well guess what? You take it OUT of the box, do an excellent job putting the kit together, and NOW it's worth about 1/5 of what you PAID for the damn thing.

This thing here seems to me about the same deal.

Neat part of automotive history, but in my opinion its not a "factory prototype" as the seller is advertising. If its a "tooling proof" model/chassis/part/assembly/etc it should be identical to what the factory tooling produced in 1974 or identical to a 1974 production model minus things here and there that were done to use this as a master model / "tooling proof".
