The lighter in my 65 Dart dash is loose. I've looked behind and there's nothing holding it tight to back side. What did they use? I'm thinking one of those kinda U shaped slightly curved spring clips would keep it snug. Any ideas, and where would I get a clip. Thanks

All of 'em I've ever seen screwed together. half goes in the front, the rear shell screws on from the rear.

Don't know what this fits, but "the idea"

Well that explains it, MINE IS BROKEN!!!!!!!!!!! no threads at all on mine and a gap between housings. I guess I'll shop around see if I can find a new (old) one. thanks guys
p.s. thanks for picture, that helps a lot

I could be off my rocker, but I believe I have seen them at NAPA.

Napa, Autozone, Oreillys or the pick and pull for an even better quality and selection.
We put a Cadillac lighter in the fairing panel right in front of the left leg on my Brothers Honda Interstate.
