CL FIND - 1964 Dodge Dart Convertible - NOT MINE

-
Delusional! $40K for a slant 6 car that’s had its engine compartment components all oversprayed and the rest is unrestored. At least tie up the dangling steering wheel cover.

Nice car but at least double what it's worth.

WOW...just open the hood and keep spraying red?????????????????

This is a 1 of 1 car.....cause i've never seen an engine compartment like this, crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's some accurate info on what these cars are going for, as of last Friday.

1964 Dodge Dart GT Convertible | T91 | Kansas City 2017 | Mecum Auctions (Decent vert but needs a new paint job and some interior work. Dirty engine bay. SOLD FOR $9,500.00

1969 Plymouth Barracuda | F55 | Kansas City 2017 | Mecum Auctions ( I knew the previous owner and passed on buying this car when it was only 13K. Decent driver. Paint is presentable but fading, interior is decent. Nice car that needs to be refreshed, to make it exceptional.) SOLD FOR $25,000.00

1972 Dodge Dart | F188 | Kansas City 2017 | Mecum Auctions (No picture but I looked it over and it was a driver at best. Ugly 4 color green interior and gold exterior, auto on column and bench seat.) SOLD FOR $25,500.00

Looks like the 2nd gen Abodies are starting to move upwards.

But this is what a little of before and after can look like..........and updated pictures look even better yet to come

Wow. What a steal! I wonder how much the price would go up if they replaced the missing radio, tail light, and broken back-up light? And the custom slab-o-carpet for the trunk is divine, including lots of dirt and crud!

Although not a /6 convertible, now I have a better idea of what my 66 is worth. At least $50 grand.

And the rare 1 of 1 "High Flow Mini" air filter is what pushed it over the $39,999 threshold!!!!!

One of 57? Where did he get that information? Galen doesn't have a breakdown that far.
I was thinking the same thing - where did he get 1 of 57 from. I have Galen's production option code book for 62-65 and for 64 GT/6 convertibles he lists 4725 units made.

Well, the bumpers are fairly straight, and if You own or are familiar with one of these, You know how much a fairly rust-free body is worth in terms of work not having to be
done. These things are convoluted in the rear especially and a major PITA to restore correctly, so it may deserve some points/credit, but missing a tail lamp and the seats
appear to have been recovered incorrectly for a GT along with a host of other flagrant violations that scream....WTF!!!!??? I mean, isn't that red '64 that has been done
totally near perfect w/a (I think) 360 swapped in in that price range? I'll look to see if it's still on You tube................

OK, here it is, not done "correct" but damn nice!! I thought I saw this thing w/a price somewhere, but it's not in the 3 vids on YT for it....
