Cleaning bulkhead connectors

I did like Kerndog did. But moving forward. Every year I disconnect Battery,unplug Bulk connector and spray the crap out of it with WD40 then blow it all out with compressed air. Keeps corrosion away and lasts all year. Some may disagree but have done this with many cars for many years.

Whatever works. Taking it apart and putting it back together will help all by itself.
 
I used lemon juice with salt. Let the terminals sit in the solution for a while, then rinsed them off and dried them with a heat gun. Reassembled with dielectric grease. Replaced any marginal terminals with the type 56.
