I like the glass ports that everyone switched over to about 20 years ago. The old school stuff was always a hassle. I haven't tuned an old school carb in so many years I'd probably have a panic attack if I saw one! Everything we see on the dyno these days is brand new XP carbs or sometimes a QF carb. Most of the "carb builders" have gone away once Holley started selling the XP stuff. Holley took all of their tricks and put them into a shelf carb and blew up the tuning business.
