Clips for hood insulation pad 65 Barracuda

I tried using the metal insulation clips that I bought from Laysons and they are useless. The spring steel lugs are too big for the holes and break off when forced. I could not get one to work and gave up.

I see Dante's has some @ $1.75 each, but if they are the poor quality with the same problem as the Layson's, I'd rather not waste any more money.
Anybody have a suggestion where I might find 22 of these? I've considered using the plastic ones which are much cheaper, but don't look right.

I bought a kit from an Ebay seller and it came with the metal clips for $5 more. No problems with them..? same ones?

Apparently there is a difference between the 65 and 66 hood insulation clips. Not exactly sure what the difference is. It appears your pict is of the 66 type, which will probably work fine for the 65. I believe the 65 is wider, but now I'm no longer concerned whether the look is correct...I just want it to work at holding the pad in place.
The more I try to restore, the less I'm satisfied with "reproduction stuff"
