Twice now, using the 9-key BBM gear (426 Hemi 6 months ago and a 440 yesterday), Those dudes have the "advance" "retard" markings backwards. Setting Intake centerline was a gong-show. Suspecting this, doing the 440 was a YUP backwards conformation. FYI, the crank gear can be bought separately to be used with the cheaper combo, as long as it is the ".250 inch" link chain/gear set-up.

Wow, full circle, I even mouthed-off in that blog (post 8) , YES the importance of degreeing. Never assume it's right, it aint.
Comes up as post 6 here.

But yeah, and no matter how much you try to preach the importance of degreeing, no matter WHAT, some of these guys just forge right on ahead and assemble without checking it. You caint fix stupid.
